FIRST PROJECT!!! Miss Sunshine Dress-Mod Retro Indie Clothing & Vintage Clothes

This is truely inspiring to me.....could this dress be any cuter? This dress is from one of my favorite websites....modcloth.com. This is an achievable design. For anyone interested, please follow me...I will share with you my formula for creating your own version of this piece.

Remember, sewing is a process and designing without a pattern creates challenges that can be frustrating, but the end result is always that much more rewarding. I am going to take it step by step, so check back each day to see where we are at!

Hello All!!!!

Ok then!! Here I am....starting something new. Kinda scary, but exciting.

My entire life, I have always been a fashion finatic...I remember paging through the JCPenney catalouge immediately upon delivery, from about the age of 4. (Probably was before that, just don't remember.) The first outfit I remember being so excited about was a Lisa Turtle-esc off the shoulder top with a matching fitted skirt with ruffle. 90's tastic, and OF COURSE floral. Stylin' even then, what can I say....

Well, the direction I plan to go here is to share with you some of my favorite websites, blogs, and ideas for creating your custom look, because to me, being modern is all about looking fabulous! Mixing the old with the new and creating your own personal look with some tips for saving money along the way.

Keep your eyes out for project ideas, as I will share my "formulas for design". Think of it as a sewing club...we can work on building your wardrobe together!! Sounds so cheesy.....Hell, this is really just for fun.....hope u enjoy :)
